The bullshit stops when the tailgate drops
That lion is a toad. I hope one day to be able to send my hounds down a lynx track that wood be awesome. sorry to hear about the loss of your hounds to wolves. I am looking forward to the pictures from next year when those new hounds put some of those felines in that tall timber.
My wife and I went on a cruise to Alaska a few summers back and stopped and made three port stops that were mandatory on the ship. One of the shops had a tanned lynx that stretched out nearly as large as a tom mountain lion. I thought about buying that damn thing and have often wished I had. The tom lion is a really nice cat, but I've caught and killeed plenty of those, and walked away from others but that lynx--WOW! I'm jealous of that lynx cougarhound, and seriously don't believe that I've ever get to run or kill one.
I have a daughter and son-in-law living in British Columbia and if they were into that stuff I'd load dogs and head that way.......
ike, when i get my new pack up and going ,i'll call and you can stop in on your way to your daghters and i'll try my hardest to put us up a lynx, thanx again for posting my pics,i can't run a computer but i can run the hell out of a cat track lol.

I would like to ask the good folks on this website what they think of this post, and the indication that the hunter made. Do you get the impression that he was the one who harvested this Lion and Lynx.
When I read it, it would appear to me that he did in fact harvest them. I would just like the good folks on this board to know that the Lynx was treed and harvested by the young fella holding the lynx on the right of the picture.
The lion was harvested by the fella holding it up Russ Zuffa, in the photo with the other lad standing beside him. It did go B&C at 15 7/16. It also made Pope and Young.
In between the lynx and Tom, those fellas also treed a female. They were about 10 miles apart, and there was a group of 5 hunters. Two father and son teams and Mr. Zuffa.
I could bore you all with the details of the hunt. If you would like I can, but thought I should point out that the pictures were taken by myself. I will also point out that the hunter was not on this particular hunt.
I only wanted to point this out for the benefit of the gents who deserve the credit where it is due.
