Dry ground too, good going.

How do you hunt? Rig? Freecasting?

Nice pics!

Thanks, I do a little of both rigging and freecasting spokerider. The first Lion we had just dumped the dogs out of the box to empty out and loosen up a bit and they roaded down the road about 1 mile and struck the track and was off. Went up the hill and got it jumped and made a big loop back down across the road and treed about 150 yards from the road.
The second Lion we actually found a nice size Bear track that we turned out on to get it heated up and had a split tree with half the dogs at the lion tree and half at the bear tree. I took my camera to the Lion tree and my buddy bailed off to the Bear tree and forgot his camera at the truck along with the two way radio. He said it was a nice size bear, if he had to guess he said he thought it might go around 300-350 pounds.

Don't know if this is the same Bear we treed but this is the track we turned out on...
