Trapping Blues

Post by jkcasey »

I hate to say it but trapping season for us here in NM is coming to a close in 10 days time. I was going to try and stick it out until the 15th but the weather was in the middle 70's today and I throw in the towel. First it's snow and frozen traps and now its blow sand and shedding critters. All in all, it was a good year. My youngest was so happy after she took that porkie out of the trap that, that in its self was worth all the work. It's not even over yet for the year and I'm already thinking of those spotted bellies that are to come next year. Later Kiel

not much better up here, except for the warm weather. I have a few more coon I need to get ride of on one of the farms I trap but all in all the season is over for me too. Can't wait for next year.
