Me and Daniel had him caught in the bluffs first but I couldn't get there in time, he bailed, when I got to bluffs there was blood all over. He treed in the bottom of a rocky nasty sucker and was real nervous, this is the by far the biggest DESERT lion I've ever caught and I was ecstatic to put my tag on him.
I weighed out one that was 143-144 one time, this one dinked him. But where he treed there was no way he was coming out whole. I'd say 150 is a safe bet, 160-180 is probably more accurate, I have never seen a tom with this type of muscle definition, his forearms were as big around as my calves.
Take it easy and Happy hunting

Dogs are left to right Cooter(Daniel), Big Nose Katie, Betty, Charlie(Daniel), Thumper, Buddy, Lil Sister, NOT PICTURED BUT DID THE JOB TOO Odie, Ginger, Spot, and Dixon(Daniel)
If I had the room and money guys I would jump on the started dog Joe is selling now, I called him about another started dog originally and he told me he thought this buddy dog would make a better lion dog, I took him on trial and put him on a truckload of bears and he showed the potential, he started cold trailing in the fall and never looked back, when I got him you know not a finished dog but the basics were there, thanks again Joe. I just wish you hadn't cut him. Fast doesn't describe it.
