tri tronics trash breaker battery????
I just bought a tri tronics last year and i charged the battery last night and the reciever is not turning on? it beeps as i take it off the charger but does not turn on... could it be the battery on the reciever?

It could be the battery pack. I would call tri-tronics directly and one of thier call center reps can give you a few different things to try to see if it will work.
I just bought one a few months ago, had a few problems with the charging system, etc. Turns out the battery pack wasn't registering correctly. So I had to take out the battery pack for about 30-45 sec, then replace it back in the transmitter and haven't had a problem since. Only problem with doing that, you have to be VERY careful you dont break the foam seal that keeps water out. But if I were you, Id call them first and see if there is any problems linked to the battery packs to that model. They usually have two or three different things to try first before they ask you to send it in.
