uhf radios

Do the uhf radios have the same effect on the astro 220 as the the vhf...I.E burning them up?

I have used a vhf radio alot with mine and with the long range antena on it before I ever heard it could happen. maybe it just depends on how close the frequencies are. I haven't had any problems so far. I did have a problem once when I hunted with some guys that had uhf radios though. my tracker kept telling me that somebody else had the same dog collar as me but I was the only one with a gps collar there.
