Someone on here gave me the info on the Smilely Antenna for the Garmin astro. I lost that info, and would like to get another. Can anyone help? Thanks

Which one is it you use?

Re: Smilely Ant.
this is my order....
2 x Stubby Duck 2 meter
- Base Connectors: SMA MALE
- Frequency: 151 $32.00
1 x 5/8 Slim Duck Antenna Search and Rescue
- Frequency: 151
- Base Connectors: SMA MALE $20.00
I ordered the Stubby duck to put on the collars and the Slim for the Astro.
The Slim gained me a "bar" or so on all dogs. The Stubby's got tore up to soon to know if they would have worked.

What am I missing here?
The collar antenna aren't SMA connectors. How are you using them, I thought they were connected with a Screw?

DC20 is what your missing. I'm a little behind the time on my collars.

10-4, I've never laid hands on a DC20 so that makes sense.
I was scratching my head trying to figure out what your talking about.. The Sad thing is ..I've taken about 20 of them 30's apart.. I was just about to take 21 apart to double check and see what your talking about..

Think nothing of it. I'd done the same thing.
I recall quite a ways back that Garmin was offering a "trade in" of the 20's for the 30's. Is that still available or for the 40's even? I don't have much trouble with the 20's, they will occasionally drop GPS signal since I moved them under the neck with the cable antennas.

Re: Smilely Ant.
I don't think so... But we wouldn't know about it until it's happening.
I'm pretty sure they won't take the DC20's. They tried refurbishing them but I don't think they were able to sell them very easily. So I don't think they will try it again. But that's just my best guess.
