i'm trying to find out what i have as far as bloodlines. i broke down and bought two plotts cause i've never known these men to have nothing but bear dogs. top side has some laurel mtn and vances. bottom side is full swampland. i believe the laurel mtn to be roy clark. i've only ever been around the clark dogs that roy's son owns and not impressed. but according to ppl around here roy has much better dogs. other than that thats all i know oh yea a emke's pioneer princess. i know pioneer is dale brandenburg but you know some ppl just like to use names. the fellars told me she was 3/4 swampland 1/4 cascade. thats what they traced back too and the male is 3/4 weems 1/4 hicks. male is out of some harley dog out of wisconsin if i aint wrong and she's out of a dog named mills river meathead

swampland is leroy haugs breeding. a lot of people swear by the red buck dog from that line. the harley dog is probably wendts harley. supposed to be a real good reproducer . roys dogs catch bear. i have had only 2. one was good and one was crazy. but i hunted with many of the laurel mtn dogs for a few years and saw plenty of treed bears.

thanks for the information. i've ben able to run down a lil more info just here around the house but i've had several pm's on the harley dog and everyone says he throws awesome puppies
