Do any of you use the maxima tracking equipment. Have a chance to get one for a couple hundred with a few collars. I was wondering how well the work in Arizona country. Up north and down south. Or if anyone in other states use them let me know what kind of country you hunt in and how you like the syste
. Not sure of the model but I think the guy said it is the blue receiver and magnet operated collars.

I have one and it works well but the external antenae makes it much better. I like the portability of it and the dual antennae collars dominate the strike collars. Just make sure the collars are the big ones made for hounds and not the pointer collars. I'm in the Northern AZ deserts mostly.
