This is what my father and i found yesterday coyote hunting. It really sucks that the ODF&W cant seem to get a clue like so many of the other western states have.I know that i hate having dogs and being able to turn them out on these damn things. I Know that if we get it back i will buy ever finished dog i can find and then it will be a bad day to be a long tail.

What the hell does that mean i obvisoly aint a hound man. Is it because i do it legal. i dont know about you but my hunting rights mean more to me then killing a cougar in a state where it is illegal with the aid of hounds. Now if i was in montana when i found this i would of went home got the dogs and killed.
OR is the fact that i was coyote with my father with the fox pro because the conditions where shitty to be out chasing bobcats. which is it.

The way you worded it. sounded like you wanted to kill all cats because they killed a deer. If that is not what you meant, my apologies.

I can't tell how fresh of a kill it is from the picture..............but usually lions bury/cover their kills. Are you sure it wasn't a coyote kill?

its not a song dog kill. cats dont do much covering up on doby clay and bunch grass flats.go to shawns web page only one pic was posted.the web page has one of a track and some more of the deer. out where he was at its a deer winter gound and its FULL of long tails. no hunting the big cats here with dogs. you can find cat kills out there all winter its the drizzlen shits how many they kill. and we cant chase them with a dog.

that crabby willowy baby muley aint worth wrappin a tag around much less killin the lion that killed it. be alot funner (if it was leagal there) to chase that big cat around and get cools pics than it would be to kill the deer.

i do agree about chasen the cats around, but i am also a deer and elk hunter. these cats have killed are game herd. We have not been able to purse with dogs since 1994 just try to visuallise the population of them we have know after 16 of them not getting dogged. it sucks
