Yes I have. It's very tough to deal to start out not to startle you. If you can catch it quick enough and get it taken care of immediatly the better. It took a while for me to get it under control. The symtoms shorty my hound had started out gettng really stiff legged and eventually got to where it looked like he had 2X4 strapped to all his legs and from his head to tail, lock jaw and everything. I took him to the vet before it got that bad tho and they diagnosed hinm with tetnis. They reccomended tetnis equine antitoxin i do believe. Now im not telling you to do any of this with out checking with the vet first. And am only speaking of my one time experience so take it for what it's wirth if you will. I Started givin the antitoxin and pennicilan check with vet for reccomended dosage for i don't remember. I had to mash the food and feed and water him through a big surenge for 4 weeks but i didnt give up and niether did he we both stuck it out for what seemed to be forever. An older budy of mine reccomended that i try some prednisone vet prescribed steroid check with vet for dosage and if its appropriate. So i gave him the prednisone not sure on spelling pennicilan and the tetnis equine antitoxin kept him hydrated and comfortable. We finally got through it. It was pretty rough, there were several people who told me to put him down, but I refused if he wasnt giving up neither was I and I was going to do all I could to keep him alive and I did. It took him a little longer to fully recover but slowly began to build muscle tone and his ability to run at full speed. It seemed to had messed up his equilibrium for the time being but he made a full recovery and the first night I took him out he treed a coon by his self pretty damn quick and with ease. And this has been almost a year ago and has excelled since he is one of my lead dogs and is a pretty nice dog. I hope your dog does better soon and makes a full recovery be strong and dont give up I hope I was able to help a little bit goood luck and keep us posted . Good luck DC
