Ran 5 today with 2 crossing out of the piece and we pulled the dogs off. The 3 that stayed didnt make it. We had 3 seperate chases going at once.

well done. did you find it hard to keep straight which coyote everyone was talking about?

With the garmins, we pretty new which dogs were on a certain one. We also knew where everyone was set up.

We have pretty big woods here. Not sure the actual size, but this one was big.

NYCOYOTEHOUNDS Boy those babies look big whats their weight?? Your Yotes are larger than the ones I've seen in oregon.I read an article some time back that said in the distant past 1800s the East didn't have coyotes and a migration of western coyotes moved east thru the great lakes and at that time the coyotes bred with the local wolves (smaller version) and by the time they arrived in the Eastern states in the early 1900's the size had jumped up and that is the reason for the larger eastern coyote. Now have any of you heard anything about this so called migration?? frank

My dad saw his first in the late 60's. He trapped one in the late 70's. I have heard of the migration. Now they are saying dna is showing timber wolf genetics in our coyotes. This is why we are getting big coyotes.
