quick track collors

anybody else having problems, had 1 that didnt turn on when i pulled mag. came on latter in the day though, had 1 that didnt shut off now the batt. dead only 2 months old,has 2 be sent in. and been having prob. with them not getting out like they should after they build a couple inches of ice around them, anybody know any secrets about the ice build-up,last weekend took an hour of defrsting dog in the front before i could get collor off and another hour befor i could put mag. back in. i do like these collors cause of price and their beeb is twice as loud as the wild-life i got.is anybody else having proplems or should i find a differnt dealer, as far as the box goes i love it to death-very operator freindly,light, and dont take up much room in the truck,any info. would be much appreitiated. thanks, Swerv.

I had the same problem with onof my Quick Track collars last bear season. Fortunately, I started checking signals on all my collars when I collar up before leaving home in the morning. Found a 1 yr. old collar would not activate after pulling the magnet off. I rapped it a couple times and it came on for short time. Sent it in. They fixed it for free and told me the connection to the battery was bad.
