hound feet
I have been roading my dogs for a few weeks now the snow is melting and gravel has started to show. I have 2 dogs that get blisters or sores on there feet. Anyone know something I could do to keep this from happening every time. I treat there feet with pad heel but it seems that the same 2 dogs keep getting them.
Re: hound feet
That happens a lot after the snow melts....the dogs feet are soft from the snow and spring moisture...just run them couple miles ever other day and they should tuffn up....years ago I had some dogs that just had naturaly bad feet and they would never tuffn up.... haven't had that problem sence I switched breeds.... if the pad blows wash it out with hydrogen proxide a few times they heal pretty fast
IF IT SQUATS TO PEE, LET IT BE....

Re: hound feet
hydrogen proxide kills more skin than it heals just stick to the pad heal and shorter runs more often.
