Progress on my pup

Post by NRedmond »

Progress on that redbone pup of mine, hes doin amazingly. Im coon huntin him and bear huntin him. Took coon huntin couple weeks ago. Got him out of the truck and started to the area to cut'em loose. He started windin, pullin and ready to go. Turned him loose with the older dogs and he struck and treed before them, blew the top out. Took him runnin earlier this week, he ran great with the small pack we had, ran every step. Watchin on the garmin, seen they were stop for a lil while. Seen him run bout 15 yds away then went rite back. Started to them and bear was still on the ground and that pup was there bayin at him like a champ. Bear treed and that pup was treein great. Got to him and he got bit good on his side, bout a 4 or 5 inch gash on his side, so i figured thats why he went ran out a lil, but he still went back and was still wantin to pull more wool :D. He'll be 10 months old tomorrow :D.

Heres a pic from bout a month ago,

It sure is inspiring when a hound pup starts setting the world on fire! :D Keep taking him!
