I have my own theory on why I am seeing alot of good toms all tore up from fighting this year. What is your take on it. I hope some more knowledge on this subject could help fill some gaps in my theory.

I haven't put any good toms up yet, but have seen lots of big tracks that I used to never see. I have two theories on why the toms are gettig beat up. First, the wolves are really displacing these toms that used to stay in the backcountry and other isolated areas. With these cats getting pushed around they are bound to run into one another. Second, around here I am seeing less and less females. If there are less females, then the toms are bound to run into each other when they find the few females that are around. Just my theories, don't know if they go with your thoughts or not.
