2011 MTHA STATE PUPPY HUNTS
May 29, June 26, & July 17
*Hunts held at Tomberlin’s Pen*
Contact Al Vogtlin (320-630-6505) to register for each hunt.
-Please contact Al by the Monday before the hunt so dog numbers can be coordinated. Inform Al if you would like to enter more than 1 hound.
Dates: May 29th -1st Qualifier
June 26th -2nd Qualifier
July 17th -2011 State Championship
Bench Show and Youth Hunt
Dates: July 16th -7 PM, Bench Show and Youth Bench Show
July 17th -10 AM, Youth Hunt, Front Pen
July 17th -Door Prizes for youth at approximately noon.
No entry fee for youth events.
$5 entry for all ages bench event.
Puppy Hunt Rules:
1. Puppies born after January 1st, 2010.
2. Hunts are 3 hours long. Start time will be daybreak.
3. $25.00 entry fee per hound.
4. Must be a current MTHA member (youth 17 and under do not have to be members).
5. 20 dogs maximum per hunt.
6. 1 hound per person (judge) per hunt. 1 extra hound per person will be accepted if there is room. Allotment based on who calls first to reserve numbers. Please bring an extra judge if entering more than 1 dog.
7. Top 10 hounds in each qualifying hunt will be in the finals.
8. You can put same hound in both qualifying hunts and you can qualify more than 1 hound for the finals. If you qualify more than 1 hound in finals please bring an extra judge.

I shot my first pig up there with randy, and when I was sneaking around looking for it I bumped into a female coyote that scared the bejesus out of me haha. I never knew he did hound work there!
