Trout line

I am wanting to make a trout line for ny hound I was just wondering how many do u put on one line and how long do u make them if anyone has any suggestions let me know

Put as many as you'd like. Just figure out how long each lead is going to be. Then space them so your dogs won't get tangled. Mine is like 60' if I remember right. It's made of chain and works great.

Hows it going, we hunt some hot desert country in NM and use trout lines in the bed of the truck during summer some too. If we're crusin the toyota we usually run a line diaganally and run 3-4 dogs on it with around 10-12 inch leads depending on the dog. Works well though!
