My johnston tracking collars and tracking box is 151.000 frequency. I played around with my 4 dc30 gps collars and found that number 16, 10, and 11 was frequency 151.880 and number 4 was 151.820. I can track my gps collars with my tracking box. When i loose GPS single with the collar, i can still track it with my tracking box. It works just like a regular collar, but it only has a beep every 5 seconds or what ever time you have your collar set at.

I forgot to mention in my last reply ( above) that, I`am going to get the proper connectors for the garmin so that i can hook up my yagi antenna to it from the tracking box.. I think this should give me extra range with the GPS collar and yagi antenna. I`m hoping that when i loose the signal of the collar, all i have to do is hook the yagi up and point it in the right direction and it should start tracking it again. I will test it out and see how much farther.

You need an SMA female (to go on your garmin) - BNC male adaptor, you can get them on ebay for about $5 each. Were doing this here & using our truck mounted aerials we used for our telemetry trackers and also got small aerials we can clip straight on the garmin like standard but getting about 50% more range, the truck mounted aerial gives better range than anything else Ive seen or heard of been used. Out telemetry trackers were 151 so they match up pretty good with the garmins, not sure how well it would go on the frequencies you guys use there but Im sure it would be better.
