ROTTWEILERS

Post by bjbmtry »

Girlfriend says since all the dogs are hunting dogs, she wants one of her own! She really wants a rott. Does anybody know a good line of rotts that are good for pets (and from a hunting line, haha)?

go to bandog banter, tell them in detail what you want from the dog and the whole situation. they should be able to reccommend a good breeder. be aware you'll pay more for a good rottie pup than 3 or 4 good hound pups. but you'll pay even more for an over aggressive, barely controllable, hard to train, overhyped, POS bred rottweiller pup.

My buddy had a rot that was crossed with one of those brindle dogs and hunted pretty good  had to put him down for being agressive and tryed to bite his kid. not sure if it was the rot or plott but be carefull. and like Pops said, be ready to spend some big bucks. Not only on the pup but the food bill to

If you don't care where its from, I could have my wife dig up the paperwork for my Rott. We got her in Vancouver, Wa. and her parents were from Germany. In fact, the breeders kids had to translate for us. lol My rott is a beautiful dog and perfect around my family. The only annoying (but good) thing she does is she will jump to attention and bark if she hears any noise when she's sleeping. lol

I've only owned two german (one currently) and both were female but both were amazing family dogs. A friend of mine has an american rott that is equally as nice. Honestly, I think either make wonderful pets. My weiner dog on the other hand.......... :P
