Treed a double

Post by tickngunner »

We had a good day yesterday. Cut a track at about 7:30 am, and dumped my two blueticks on it. The track turned into four tracks coming together within about 150 yards or so and my female took off back tracking on one of the tracks. Gunner stayed on it and was out of hearing range b4 long. The Garmin marked him treed about .83 miles away within 20 minutes or so of him trailing hard. He stayed at the tree for a good half hour till I got there. About a hundred yards or so b4 I got to the tree there was complete chaos in the snow. Cat tracks going every which way. I got to the tree that he was at and he had a nice 110 lb female about 15 feet above him. I took so I took some pics and headed back to look through the chaos in the snow and saw a second cat in a tree about 80 yards back the way we came. This cat wouldn't show me its butt. I hit it with a few pine cones and it didn't move. So I took some pics of it and took off one happy dog owner.
