as of today, 12/25/11, we have treed twelve and killd eight...and by the way, before anyone starts to critique my photos about the blaze orange, there was no deer firearm season in during the first week of bear season...and was told by more than one game warden that it was not required..

My son took this one with a bow the first morning.

Well done ! Nice pics, good looking dogs too .That plott looks to have a good strong front end on him!! Is that your son's red dog ?

jgagne57, thanks for the comment...the red dog in the picture that i posted earlier is a buckskin plott and is really rough on a bear...we treed a sow and three cubs today..here is a picture of my sons ole red dog, from the first week.

That's a darn good looking redbone !!
I raised plotts for 30some years and I never did have a buckskin pup .Mine were on the black brindle side . Also I only ever had one saddleback pup. They were Duane Smith breeding.
Keep them pics coming ,I really enjoy them !
