Finally got good snow when I could make it out. Hounds did a good job and my buddy smoked him in the back of the head. Should be the first of many for us this season!

The chase was only like an hr or so but with the lack of snow for us and this being the first yote my buddy has ever shot we put him in a prime location and told him to blaze away. Also we also wanted to get the hounds some chew time being early in the season for us.

Good job on the hunt! Here in eastern wi. we got more rain than snow on sunday and monday but went out and tried anyway on tuesday. Had a couple good runs but the crusty snow didn't hold much scent and was tough on the dogs feet, they got pretty chewed up. Sure wish we would get some decent snow.
