Sorry Mam your duck is dead

A rather eccentric woman goes to her local veterinarian carrying a medium sized box. Inside the box is easy to see what appears to be a duck. The poor duck is motionless and lying on its side not moving or apparantly breathing.

The woman shows the duck to the vet and asks, " Do you know what is wrong with my duck Doctor" ? The vet then proceeds to give the duck a quick examination, knowing all to well that the duck is obviosly dead.

" I'm sorry maam but your duck is dead " says the Doctor.
Are you sure, he can't possibly be dead doctor claims the
woman.

The doctor then leaves the room and returns with his Labarador Retreiver. The dog sniffs the duck, sits down in front of the box, wimpers a sigh, and places his right front paw on the box. The doctor then says, " Maam your duck is definately dead".

The woman again is in total denial, and says, " Doctor maybe the duck is just in a diabetic coma or something ".

The doctor then leaves again and returns with a cat. The cat looks closely at the duck in the box, sits down in front of it, and meows softly, and closes it's eyes.

The doctor said " I'm sorry maam but your duck is definately dead". Now that exam is complete, he turns to the woman and asked her to come to the front of the office so he can fiqure out your bill.

The poor old woman is shocked, $150 she says just to tell me my duck is dead!!

The doctor replies, " Yes normally it would only be $20, but you didn't believe me and the Lab test and the Cat scan were $65 each for a total of $150.
