Trash breaker

Post by Drytrail »

Just ordered my trash breaker today it should be here on thursday. It is finally starting to melt off enough to get up and do some bare ground hunting. The dogs are doing well and we had one caught last week in the dirt until he bailed off the edge and left the dogs ledged up.Wanted a little more control over them as the game is really strating to move now and i don't need em trashin on me.Just wanted some opinions on this system and what kind of range everyone using them gets in the nasty suff. Also what level of stimulation gets your dogs head out of its butt and back on track.I have seen this sytem roll six grown hounds on there ass about a mile away but it was open country and we could clearly see them all chasin the hell out of a big muley.
You have to catch em not chase em

I'd say it depends on the situation. If that dog is 10 feet from that deer light his ass up full stimulation. Guaranteed he'll think twice about that again.
I usually work my way up the dial until he stops. Just be sure he's on trash. Our pups were headed up a hillside and deer were bustin out everywhere when my buddie lit up his dog. 15 minutes later my dogs put up a cat 200 yds from us.
USE IT WISELY!
