Magnets

Post by Bdog »

I need some good strong collar magnets who do you use. Quick track has them but shipping/processing is more then the magnets.

Thanks

I have 10 or so of the quick track yellow magnets I'll give you if i can find what my kids did with them. I know they're around, I saw them playing with them last week. I'll just have to figure out where. haha

Pretty funny coming from a guy (Tony) that lives in a mansion and has all the nice toys:) It just rips my behind to pay more for processing than the magnets themselves. Caught one this weekend and the pups did well. How are you doing this season?

Do you have an ACE hardware store around you? My buddys wife works at one near me she looked around in there books and got a bunch in for us really cheap. I dont even remember what they ran but I got something like 40 or 50 of them for less then $5.00 and they work great.

I think most collar brands use diffrent size magnets. I know the ones my buddy had for his collars worked great in his collars but wouldnt shut off my Quick Track collars unless I had it just right.

Magnets do loose thier strength after a few years. I just got rid of a bunch that would'nt turn off my Johnson collars anymore. Put some new ones in and they worked fine.

BDOG, if you still need them, PM me your address. I found 7. These are the quick track magnets with the yellow heat shrink.
