22 versus 38

What can I expect between a 22 and using 38 ammo in a 357 for damage on animals like yote,cat,coon etc.? Thanks

i carry the .22 long rifle catridge. i can put more in my pocket, and are cheaper on the wallet. other than that the rest is shot placement.

if you want more than a 22lr but not too much, consider a 327 magnum revolver. you can download to 32 H&R mag, or 32 S&W shorts. you can even handload super light loads using 31 caliber round ball (used for cap & ball blackpowder pistols).
