fox pen ?

I am looking for information on fox pens. I've never run in a pen but have been tossing the idea around lately. How does a fox pen work? I mean is it a place where you freecast your hounds, or ride the roads until a fox crosses? Also if anybody has any information about fox pens in central or the western part of VA I would really appreciate it. Thank you all for your time.

Do a YouTube search for low outdoors. They haves foxpen episode.
