I NEED TO BUY A NEW TRACKING SYSTEM. WHO CAN TELL ME ABOUT THE GPS SYSTEMS AND WHAT TO LOOK FOR AND WHAT NOT TO LOOK FOR. I HUNT DRY GROUND IN AZ ALOT OF STEEP CANYONS AND CEDAR AND PINION.

There is a GPS its yellow cased and hangs around your neck and its probably as good as any and I remember in the 2003-4 yrs they was the choice of most PKC event hunters/ however if ya get under a covering in a tree line ya can loose the sighnal till ya get too at least a small clearing and then it reads ok again= I would asume they al do like that!
Maybe yellow is easer to mind if ya loose it ya can locate it easer ?!

Have a friend that has attached the garmin on the same collar as his tracking unit. Says the garmin is ok but they still need to re-design the antenna to a flexible one like our trackers. The unit also has a 5, 10 and 30 second setting for satelitle pickup.
