I assume you are saying what are Outfitter's paying guys known their helpers or guides who run around and find lions and get the Outfitter and the client to the tree?

From what I have seen around here the Outfitter takes pretty good advantage of these guys and allows them to walk their butts off, burn the clutches and rear ends out of their trucks and burn up tons of expensive fuel, get up extra early and stay late getting stuck and the Outfitter gets the glory the big check and he brags enough on these guys and gives them just enough from keeping them from getting a real job and he hopes the client will tip them to keep them showing up. Most guides burn out pretty quick if it is just lion they are working on. If they can produce well on antelr hunts they usually do better. Most have told ne it's a pretty hard way to get rich. :)

The avg. for everyone I deal with is a 1000.00 for a 6 day hunt with the outfitter buying the all the fuel and food for the day. But you have to have a pack of dogs that is going to catch lions and a pickup that a hunter is going to want to spend the week in. You also have to have a license in most states.
