newbie to NV lion hunting????
New to NV lions and hounds, trap bobcats and I've gotten tired of seeing fresh lion sign around my sets and not been able to do anything about it. Caught a lion in a foothold this season and released it, I've had the bug since! I'm in the middle of prime lion country and just need to educate myself on running them, have one green hound and I'm training her. Anybody with any book/dvd recommendations, or some personal advice is greatly appreciated.

Bobcats are fun to hunt as well don't turn down a good race. I would read both Walk with Wick books, Call of the Hounds by Del Cameron, and a few other select pieces that are easy to obtain. I would also consider talking to Cal Bryant on here who knows how to hunt in your conditions for the game you want.

Welcome to this addiction. Not sure exactly where you are located, but good luck. Check out the Nevada forum on here as well. There are a lot of people around.

I'm located south of gardnerville, up in the foothills about 5 miles to California border. I'm going to check out those books for sure thanks. How do I find the Nevada forum? Can't seem to find it.
