I got my hands on a Tritronics Nightrazor and love it. I would never use one of the coon hunting lights, hard hat type with the cable running to a battery pack. The Nightrazor is a small, lightweight rechargeable light that will shine for 40 hours on low setting. This low setting is all that you need to see to walk and collar dogs. It has a medium, high and super bright setting that reduces shine time to 2.7 hours. It comes with a red and amber lens and a lens cover that disburses the light for walking. Though it makes me crazy, it has a strobe setting that will double your shine time.

I been wondering about those. Have seen them advertised but didn't know how they work or what others thought of them. I have been checking for reviews of them online but haven't found any. Glad to hear you got one and like it. Might just have to get one when my light goes to hell.

Go on the UKC site under coon hunting and see other comments. I feel that this light is going to "change the game".

Re: Tritronics Nightrazor
I'm not a guy that uses a Head light.
But Last Week I was working in the attic installing a Bathroom heater in insulation. (Did I mention How much I hate Hot Attics filled with insulation?) Anyways I've had one of them that I got to play around with and test out.
I would agree with Gary, they are flat amazing. The battery life on them is un real, I charged it months ago and have been playing with it.
It's definitely A light that I'm going to keep around even though I don't hunt at Night. but if I did This definately beat the hell out of a Mag Light!
Lots of different Brightness settings, but for me You can put a Cap on the light and it just gives a Soft walking light
I've been needing to write a review of this for a while. Especially since I justified it by telling me that I was going to use it to review and then I would sell it. Well I've decided not to sell mine..

Anyone want to post pics of the setup on a baseball cap or something? I use cheap walmart head lamps myself.

Re: Tritronics Nightrazor
Had mine for some time now. Has just been an awesome light. Did a review of it on another site. Much brighter than many other equally rated lights. One of the issues I had with it has now been changed. So that should not be effecting anyone. I do have some concern over the power switch. Have not broke mine yet. But it has become a bit wobbly. My light has gone through some very harsh testing so far. It's still small enough to keep in your pocket, but packs one heck of a punch. Mine is pretty much with me everywhere I go. In the boat, truck, woods, job sites. It is the number one light I use hands down!!! Not a lot of accessories for it just yet. But most of them out there will work from other lights.
Definitely worth spending the money!!

While I use and promote their products, don't keep them in inventory. I don't have room for Tritronics where I am at the present time. I am looking at the possibility of purchasing another building which will allow me to add a few more lines.
Snakes have not been too bad as it has been too hot, if you know what I mean. It seems like they "hibernate" when it gets over 100 degrees. I did kill one last week but none so far this week and have not had a dog bitten in a couple of months.
