Livin in oregon for the summer...ran into somebody that runs dogs there. he told me that know ones aloud to run dogs on bears or catz this true?

There is no running bear or lion with hounds without a permit. Bobcat training season starts in September. Dewey

You also can pursue fox, coyotes, and racoon. The pursuit seasons are for racoon, and bobcat. I am unsure of rabbits but I think you can pursue them as well. But no big game.

It passed by initative petition in the 90s. It was called measure 18 and Multnoma county alone had enough votes to outvote the rest of the state. The measure was funded by out of state money ( one million donated by HSUS)
Not sure but at least 3 trys to get rid of it have failed.

wow thats ridiculous! Especially with the extremely high number of mountain lion in eastern oregon!
