WWII Irish pilot

A WWII Spitfire pilot was invited to speak at the local church about his experiences during the war. He started out by saying " I remember the German Air Force was very strong." He continued " I was flying escort for our bombers when out of the Clouds came three German fokkers".

Several of the Parishioners gasped and several of the children started to giggle. " I suddenly realized that two of these fokkers were right above me" . The young ladies squirmed in their seats and the boys hid their smiles." I pulled up on the stick and shot the rear fokker down.

The ladies in the audience blushed and the Deacons were whispering to each other."I dove to the left and pulled up directly behind and under the lead fokker and shot him down." The young ladies were now giggling and the young men laughing. " Now only one fokker was left and I went in a spin to the right and came up to his starboard side and shot him down". The parishioners were aghast the young people laughing , the deacons standing, the ladies fainting from embarrassment.
The Parson stands up and says "I feel it is important here to inform you folks that a Fokker is a form of WWII German aircraft fighter planes.

The Irish pilot continues " That is true but these fokkers were flying Messerschmitts !!
