need strike dog in november here in az

i will be needing a rig or strike dog in early november here in az. i need a dog that will help train my young dogs and show them the tricks. i need a dog that will strike from the truck and run his own lion. if you have any dogs in mind let me know cash money.

Get ahold of jeff allen. 5 grand is what your gonna need unless you find an older 9-10 year old dog that still has a few good years left. If someone offers u a good dirt dog strike dog for less you better go hunt with the dog maybe take someone with you that knows what their looking for. Jeff is pretty good about making sure your happy with the dog u get. If your looking for a snow dog you can get one that will catch for 2-3 grand sometimes less if u get lucky. Good luck on the lion rig dog. Lol.

thats what i figured. i dont mind getting a dog in the 8-9 year range as long as he or she can hunt and help my dogs out for a good year or two until they catch on.

i got a dog from jeff that kicks ass on bear, rigs from the truck and trails and handles very well, he is mostly a lion dog but stays with the track and works it out, i have only caught one cat with him this year but as soon as i got him the cats left the areas i was hunting but im back out hunting again and will see what he can do. You will pay for one of jeffs dogs though and bring CASH $$$. but they are the real deal.

You may want to contact Mike Pierce of Duncan, AZ. Not sure if he wants to part with any or not? BUT--I hunted mule back with his dogs on Sat. and he has some that handle good. We struck a cold track with two of his and one of mine, but was on a ridgeback , late in AM, cold track, Plus was hot on our hounds!

If you cannot get in touch, call or email me and I will get his number for you? Mike was born and raised in that country and knows it well. Knows hounds and only hunts dryground. Does not run bear with his hounds & told me he has older dogs and needs to shed some and get some younger hounds going. He is like all of us, every once in awhile we get top heavy on one or the other----to many older dogs or to many younger dogs! Seems never a happy median & when we get there it does not last long!
