need help with dogs barking in kennel

I have been volunteered to watch my buddy's bird dogs for a month. It's only been a couple of nights and their barking is keeping me up. I have tried just about everything I could think of and nothing is working. There is 7 of these barkers and they are starting to drag my usually quiet hounds into it. If anybody has a solution please help.

Spare the rod ... Spoil the child. Nothing gets the point across like a little physical attention.

Start with some phyiscal learning about it, after they know what you want from them with the command reinforce with the ecollar from a distance.
