A friend of mine who use to hunt a lot of hounds told me since I am new to hound hunting to go to the trials and put my hound in a novice class. But I havent been able to find anything about any comeing up. Can someone tell me when a event might be comeing up? How do I go about getting involved?

In the valley, there a few hound clubs. Their is a yearly one at prineville around first of june. Lagrande hopefully will have one next year. I am unsure of nevada/California.
The way they do prineville normally the hounds qualify themselves for which class they are in. I went last year and a few of my sorry mutts wouldn't even run the drag so if you hunt alot, don't expect alot on a drag for a dog.
