New Magazine (Buddys)

I could not reply to his annoucement post, so im starting this one.

I think it'd be nice to have a good big game magazine. I have had subscriptions to American Cooner, Full Cry, and Fur Fish and Game of those 3 I preferred Fur Fish and Game the most because of the content and way the advertisements were put. The advertising in american cooner really ruined me on it.

Content would be a issue for a start up such as this, I however drawing on some good ole boys on here it could go well. It'd be good to have a fur market report in it, and locations of sales/nafa dates. Each issue having a beginners section would help, a story section, one of my favorite parts of ffg was a section with DIY tips that varied from hunting to household tips. Having more than just dogs I think would bring more appeal ( deer, elk, etc)

Also some informational stuff about dog shows, trials, how pedigrees work, etc that might not be hunting related. I have no idea how those titles and stuff are, how proper ukc hunts work and etc.

Just some thoughts.

Well Folks if any of BuddW's efforts with BGH and his Customer Service with DU Hound Supply are an indicator, his Magazine will be Great.

I hope some Hog Hunters, East Coast Bear,Fox, Cat and Yote runners as well as a SE Hound Deer Hunter will send Stories and Pics in to him. Hounds Men and Women from the West Coast, Mid West, the Rocky Mts, and the Southwest can give us a glimps into the Hounds and Hunting in their area.

Any Magazine is only as good as its Stories and Photos! There for, you all out there across the Country in all Genres of Hound Hunting work on writing up your good Hunts or get your buddies who have the gift of gab to do so. Include those photos of the Hounds at work not just the Hero shots.

If Buddyw is going to give you DU bucks to spend....well that will be like Xmas year round!

I would really like to see something like this take off. Most tree's I go to I have 1 to all 3 of my kids with me, I take alot of pic's when the kids are around. A guy could write a little hunt story with pic's of dogs and kid's. Hell, the hunt story could be written from the perspective of the kids. That might make for some fun reading for us and also make it interesting for the next generation of hunters. Anyway, make it happen Buddy. I have faith in you. John.
