Jeff Allen's Pepper dog

Post by cbolerja »

Does anybody have a picture of Jeff Allens Pepper dog? I was thinking about breeding a female to him soon and would like to see a picture of him, not like it really matters but just kind of curious...Also, anyone that has hunted with him? thanks

Hmm sounds fishy....I also kind of find it odd that no one has a picture of this dog...

Don't stress it I have not seen the dog since he came back broke up. But I have been under more trees with jeff Allen than any man on earth gauranteed. I have not been on a ton of lion with pepper but definitely 20 plus. He is a solid well rounded good looking walker dog. I have also worked with ten or so pups out of him and they were as good a pups as I've seen. Don't claim to know everything in the world and hardly have time to hunt these days but been under my fair share of trees and know one thing for sure if jeff told me pepper is alive it's dang sure the case. I have known and hunted with him for most of twenty years. Anyone has a question shoot I can prob answer.

I have known Jeff for alot of years, if Jeff said pepper showed back up and is alive that is exactly what happened.

It's none of my business but I thought the guy that goes by 'Lost River' on here bought Jeff's Pepper dog awhile ago?

Or did/does Jeff have multiple dogs named Pepper?

This whole story sounds suspicious, there is a guy by us that has had a dog named duke he has been selling pups out of and telling ppl its the same dog since the late 80's , I dont think this story here is a whole lot different. Why on earth would this guy supposubly sell this great dog n then buy him back, or tell somebody the dog is dead when he is just injured.

Some off you worry to much and draw a few to many conclusions I am the one that posted pepper was dead reason being jeff lost him over a giant ledge searched all over for him but never could find him. Then about three weeks later he got hauled in by someone we all thought he was dead. Even though I no jeff better than anyone on this website I have moved and didn't find out he had been found. Thus the reason why I posted he was dead when someone asked about breeding to him. After hearing he was alive I called jeff to verify and he is but did get busted up and in rough shape. Not a fairy tale dog by any means nor is he old like the ghost dog mentioned. The reason the dog got sold one time is he was young and jeff has many great dogs and for need of a good male bought him back. Have questions ask or call someone who has answers dont paint a picture of one of the most successful lion hunters around. Jeff lives in kanab Utah and has a phone would love to answer any questions you may have. Pepper is one heck of a dog but jeff knows him better than me. I still have one dog out of pepper I haven't done much with him because I just move and got a new job but he is a great started dog. Jeff hunts full time for eight months of the year and has for almost forty years so I dare say is more experienced than most on this web especially when it comes to actually putting cats up a tree. Sorry to be so defensive just known jeff for a long time. Happy hunting all how many cats you all catch in your neck of the woods. Hope you'll had a good season I haven't hardly been out this year hopefully this summer.
