Any Ideas ?

Had a 15 mile race yesterday. my three yr old bloodhound and my two yr and a helf old bluedogs jumped a fresh track in just in just a few hundred yrds. The yote blew out of that block and across the next one and was trying to cross into another and i turned it with my truck. he doubled back into the block and thats were he stayed for the next almost 2 hrs running circles all inside a couple hundred acers. the dogs bayed it once in a brush pile long enuf for me to get almost to them and they blew out again. But still went no place just stayed circling and after 15 miles i finaly cut off the dogs but the yote had got out ahead of them. this was a first for me ive been out run and ive had them circle but this was odd. oh and the dogs were doing work average speed was 10.17 mph for the race. any ideas? i attached a pic of the garmin it was like this yote thought he was a cat lol

My guess would be a big male that wasnt afraid of the dogs, we have had them run like that their the easiest to kill

yeah i dont carry a gun most of the time i had a friend with me that couldnt get deep enough to get infront of it so it lives. lol good day for the dogs tho
