Hound Books?

I am just a wanna be houndsman trying to soak up all the information I can and just read some good stories. I am going to order David Peightal's Bobcat Dog but want more.

Anybody have any other suggestions? Thanks

Tough to beat The Longwalkers by Jerry Lewis and Call of the Hounds by Del Cameron and Slash Ranch Hounds by Dub Evans for cheap, easy to find, good hound books. Most of the others are going to be expensive and hard to find.

I take that back. After checking, Longwalkers and Call of the Hounds are no longer cheap on amazon............

Try looking at the High Lonesome Press catalog. They reprint classic hound books and sell used hound books as well as other western americana
