How cold is it in ND?

I just got off the phone with a friend in North Dakota. She said the snow had drifted up around the house almost waist deep and was still snowing. Chill factor was, minus 59 degrees
She said her husband was just standing in front of the window staring and she figured,if it gets any worse , she was going to have to unlock the door and let the drunken bastard in.
