fur sale question
I have been hearing both sides to 2 questions about bobcat pelts just wanted some more opinions. do you want to present them with legs out or left in? and skin the toes out or cut off at the ankles?

Re: fur sale question
if you are selling to nafa or a somewhere that will be using your pelts for anything other than for taxidermy use you will cut them off at the ankles. taxidermy use is the only reason you will leave the claws on. when you turn the pelt on the stretcher you will leave the legs inside.

Re: fur sale question
I sell my cats with the legs out and pinned upwards towards the head, use wire or hanger to stretch them out flat. In the climate I'm in I put up everything fur out and dry them, never have a problem. I also pin the inner rear legs so they look like a solid at the bottom on the stretcher, gives the appearance of a longer belly
