I would like to come out to New Mexico to bear hunt this fall. Can anyone help with any information on where there would be the best place to go.. Thanks

Call Game and Fish they will give you suggestions. Good hunting around Chama down to Pecos. Lot of public forest lands. Over the counter tags.

Thanks. Fish and game told me to try Gila area. I have always wanted to hunt the Gila area but I dont care which area just as long as Im in bear. Whats ur thoughts on the Gila area ? Thanks
