I found them for $165. Release date is supposed to be the 22nd or 24th but they've been delayed several times already.

I received my DC 30 on the 28th of Aug. I run them hard in southern Utah and for me they worked Great. Just remember to turn them on and link them up before cutting the dog loose...... Now I will give them a try hear in Idaho this weekend. There is alot thicker cover so will see. Also the Topo Maps are a must!

We just got our system with one collar, and it is sweet, the most handy, helpful hounding tool I have ever seen or used as of yet, it tells you when they tree the quarry, with and updates the status every 5 seconds, and it will tell you how far, what way the are going, if they are moving, bayed up (on point) and has alot of the features that the other garmin gps systems have, it is awsome, the only downfall is the battery, it lasted 5 days of hunting fairly hard, probably 5-6 hrs. a day.

just got my collars yesterday so i had to try them out today and I am very impressed with them and the dogs seem to like them better than the dc20, they fit a lot better. I let my son take the dogs for a run about 4 miles away I kept the receiver and still got a great signal was in some pretty rough terrain and thick cover.

Does anyone know where to get the plastic extender "nut" cover that Garmin uses on the female RG 58 SMA cable connector on their roof mount magnetic anttennas and portable long range handheld anttennas? They (the plastic cover) make it easy to screw the SMA cable connector on and off the Astro hand held receiver.
Just looking for the plastic cover or the female RG 58 SMA connectors with the plastic extension cover already on it.
