Finally gave in to the Bears ...

My first day of bear hunting this year.. I don't really have bear dogs.... but I have some I'm going to hunt in the next couple of weeks..

Bear in the air, dogs under the tree, look like beardogs to me.

You can tree bear without having a bear dog. It says a lot about the man that does tree bear and knows he does not have a true bear dog or dogs. I would call him a true hounds man with a lot of knowledge about game and his dogs and knows the difference in treeing game and having a that is top at what he does. If you get out this way look me up and one of these days I plan to make a big loop to see some of you guys. Good hunting Dewey
