I stopped in to introduce myself. I am in eastern NC and have a couple walkers to run deer. I have recently got a big interest in running bobcats and contemplating getting a dog to do such. I only know of one guy that comes to our hunting club to run them but I don't know him.

I am enjoying reading all the threads and it seems there is a lot of learning I have to do. I also seems I may have my hands full trying to get a good bobcat hound. Time will tell I guess.

Welcome aboard Chad. Assuming you will be getting into running dogs to use for cats, not to many ppl I have heard of using a single dog on cats with success in those thick eastern part if the state. Several boys in here from Carolina or southeast va who hunt in Carolina. Maybe one of them would be a good place to stay. NENc and. SEVa have as many deer proof hunters of Fox/Cat as anywhere on east coast. Happy hunting
