I have Utchman and Hammer bred dogs that really like bear. Although we don't have too many cats in my area the breeder I got my Hammer bred dog from was big into cats so I would think they would most likely do fine on both.

I had a smokeyriver bluetick that was a real good bear dog and would stay with a mean bear all day by himself. He wouldn"t work a lion track on the dirt.

I have a smaller smokey river bluetick that is good on cats, biggest fault is he is far from kennel quiet.

A man is not very smart that can,t find his wife 2 jobs.
And any wife should be able to support her man and a pack of hounds.

Never shock your dog off bad game

The hammer dogs I have been around were slick treeing fools. Not worth the powder it takes on cats.
