I am new to hunting with hounds. Got into the hounds when my wifes uncle decided to cut down on his pack a year and a half ago. He gave me 4 hounds, three blueticks and a walker. I lost two of the dogs due to my ignorance of hounds. Picked up two more from a neighbor who has hounds, one beautiful female bleutick and I would have to guess a big redtick,not sure have not seen any hounds like him. (Have not lost any sence) The same neighbor gave my son a pup from his experimental hound breading project early this spring. She is the ugliest hound Ihave seen but she is smart and her training is going well, it has been good training for my son also. The count now is three bluetick a redtick and my son's mut hound puppy.

I did not get to do any hunting last year because of other hunting tags that I had and the type of winter we had here. I am geared up this year and ready to hunt lions and bobcats. Spent the summer training and getting a good handle on the dogs.

I still have a lot of learning to do so I have decided to use this forum to maybe get some of my questions answered. I have been using this web page and reading through this forum for a year now. I would like to say that this sight and it's forum have been very help full and it is appreciated.
