Need help writing an article for newspaper can u help ??

I'm looking for someone with hound hunting in mind that could write an article that would potentially printed in a few newspapers. Would like to get an article that shows our sport as what it is not what the antis make it out to be. If any one reading this can write up an article that would help our cause I would like to hear from you. When writing this article keep in mind that this will be posted in Washington state papers, where big game hunting is banned as of now. Hoping to get an article that would help unite all hunters and get them on our side to help fight the cause. If need any help in research let me know can help in any way. I would write this my self by I would like it to come from an outsider with out all the passion and pain that us Washington hound hunters feel. This is stemming from an article or two that was written about our sport saying we are killers and cruel people. If we are ever going to win we need the public with us not against us and all other hunters united with us on our cause.

Deer Hunting was taking a toll on Hunting with Hounds in Il.
The Illinois State Coonhunters along with several Foxhunters , Addressed this in Springfield Il. Steve Fielder was present and gave an economic impact statement. All the money spent in Il. By Coonhunters. It was impressive.

Another idea we had was to hit home on the Family side of things..

Average people, who hunt dogs.. Grandparents, Kids, Jobs. the more people can realate to us the harder it is for them to bash us.

I believe that Even the most serious Anti Hunter, enviromentalist will crumble face to face if you ask him.. "Why do you hate me" in person.

Just my two cents. I think this is a Great idea. Keep us updated.

and could probably help out. However, if you just send something to a newspaper without discussing it first with them, they probably won't print it.
If there are specific newspapers or magazines that you would like to see something in, we would have to research who the editors are, what kinds of pieces they regularly print from outsiders, and make a proposal. Since I'm on the est coast and don't know much about Washington papers, politics, or hunting conditions, it would take a fair amount of back and forth to make it work.
My own opinion on what makes hound hunting appeal to people who don't hunt is that the dogs are such wonderful dogs. Nothing like a hound dog face, or hound music, to capture the heart of a pet-loving suburbanite. Plus, the old-fashioned romance of getting out into the countryside and getting to learn the lion's ways without a tv screen.
